Aaliyah Dana Haaughton rose to prominence after the release of the album she dubbed Age Ain't Nothing But A Number in the year 1994. Aaliyah Dana Haughton was just fifteen when her debut album was released as Gold. This collaboration was highly influenced by R. Kelly, and made her a star onto the scene. She collaborated in 1996 together with Jermaine Dupri and Timbaland for her second album One In A Million which contained the number-one hit single If You Only Knew. Aarti uses both Aarti Majumdar and Aarti Munn as professional names. Although her early professional career was mostly dominated by small films and television performances, she rose to greater recognition in the latter half of 2000s. Other notable works she has done comprise Leverage 2012, Suits 2013, and Grey's Anatomy 2017. In addition, she has appeared in advertisements for major companies like the international auto manufacturer Volvo. She is currently working on her acting career in Los Angeles, where she lives with her daughter and husband.
